Controls Engineer (Job #CEAPWEB):
The Controls Engineer is responsible for model-based controls algorithm development for diesel powertrain for subsystems including EGR, turbocharger, fuel injection and aftertreatment. The successful candidate will:
- Implement and evaluate control strategies using Simulink on rapid-prototyping systems.
- Plan and conduct experiments in order to characterize engine behavior for modeling and calibration purposes.
- Maintain controls development project plans and provide controls software to project teams.
- Collaborate with suppliers and external and internal partners for meeting project goals.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or foreign educational equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in the job offered or in a similar occupation, such as Systems Engineer
- Experience with diesel powertrain simulation, aftertreatment controls development and on-board diagnostics
